Our Custom Steel Casting Manufacturing Approach

Full process control from mold design and steel melting to pouring, heat treatment, and CNC finishing — every step optimized for cast steel's unique shrinkage and solidification behavior.

Pattern Design and Sand Preparation

Our engineers design the gating system, riser placement, and draft angles specifically for steel's higher shrinkage rate. The sand type and binder system are selected based on the part geometry and the required surface finish to prevent porosity and cold shuts.

Melting, Deoxidation & Pouring Control

Steel is melted and chemically verified by a spectrometer before pouring. Deoxidizers are added to eliminate oxygen-induced porosity. Pouring temperature and fill rate are precisely monitored to minimize turbulence, shrinkage cavities, and inclusion defects.

Demoulding, Heat Treatment & CNC Machining

After controlled cooling, castings are demoulded, shot-blasted, and NDT-inspected. Annealing, normalizing, or quenching is applied based on mechanical property requirements. Final dimensions are CNC-machined and CMM-verified before shipment.
