Custom cast iron flywheel housing
Our custom cast iron flywheel housings are precision sand-cast and CNC-machined for diesel engines, industrial generators, and power transmission systems. Serving as the critical structural interface between the engine block and gearbox or generator end, each flywheel housing is machined to your exact bolt circle diameter, register bore, PTO opening, and mounting face flatness requirements. Available in grey iron and ductile iron, with full OEM and ODM support and first article inspection before mass production sign-off.

Precision Register Bore Machining — The flywheel and gearbox register bores are line-bored to tight concentricity tolerances, ensuring accurate alignment between the engine crankshaft, flywheel, and transmission input shaft to eliminate vibration and premature bearing wear.
Custom Bolt Circle & PTO Opening — Engine-side and gearbox-side bolt circle diameters, bolt hole count, PTO aperture size, and starter motor opening position are all machined to your exact drawing, ensuring direct compatibility with your engine and drivetrain assembly.
SAE Standard & Custom Configurations — We manufacture to SAE J617 flywheel housing standards (SAE 0 through SAE 6) as well as fully custom configurations for non-standard engine-to-gearbox interfaces and generator set applications.
Grey Iron & Ductile Iron Options — Grey iron provides excellent vibration dampening and cost efficiency for standard engine applications, while ductile iron delivers higher tensile strength and impact resistance for heavy-duty truck, marine, and off-highway powertrain use.
Full Machining on All Mating Surfaces — Engine block mating face, gearbox bell face, register diameters, and all bolt hole positions are CNC-machined and inspected by CMM to ensure accurate assembly with zero rework at your engine assembly line.
