Our Expertise of Stainless Steel Casting

We possess mature engineering capabilities in stainless steel casting, enabling the stable mass production of various industrial components that feature thin walls, complex runners, and high load-bearing requirements.

Leveraging precision investment casting, vacuum pouring, and flow/solidification simulation technologies, we consistently deliver customized stainless steel assemblies to industries including automotive, food processing, machinery, medical devices, energy, and chemicals. Dimensions range from 0.1 to 24 inches, with weights spanning 1 ounce to 50 pounds. ensuring each batch delivers high density, dimensional consistency, and corrosion resistance.

Our Manufacturing Approach

To ensure consistent casting quality, we've broken down “control” into tangible data and processes: material batch traceability, comprehensive casting parameter logging, pre-production simulation validation, and digital verification for every batch inspection—replacing reliance on master craftsmen's intuition.

Alloy Composition and Melting Control

We perform spectral analysis on standard materials such as 304, 316, and 17-4PH, making real-time adjustments to chemical composition to prevent corrosion resistance and hardness instability caused by fluctuations in Cr and Mo content.

Engineering Design of Mold and Gate Systems

The pouring system undergoes software simulation (flow and solidification) to minimize defects like shrinkage cavities, cold shuts, and slag inclusions. Gate placement and riser shrinkage compensation paths are designed based on structural stress points of the casting.

Heat Treatment for Performance Optimization

Solution annealing is commonly applied to 304/316 grades to enhance corrosion resistance.17-4 PH grades undergo heat treatment schedules ranging from H900 to H1150 to achieve an optimal balance of strength and toughness.

Precision Machining and Quality Inspection

Achieve dimensional accuracy of ±0.05–0.1 mm via CNC finishing + CMM coordinate measurement. Surface roughness reaches Ra 3.2–6.3 µm (depending on casting grade).
Ultrasonic testing, penetrant testing, metallographic examination, hardness testing, etc.,

What are the Advantages of Stainless Steel Castings Parts ?

  • Stable casting achievable from 0.1–24 in, with weights ranging from a few grams to 50+ pounds.
  • Excellent surface quality in as-cast condition reduces post-processing costs.
  • Critical dimensions controllable to ±0.005 in, suitable for high-precision components.
  • Suitable for geometries challenging to achieve with traditional processing, such as thin-walled, complex runner, and integrated structures.

If you're concerned about whether a design is suitable for casting, we also support preliminary manufacturability assessments and simulation optimization to reduce risks and improve first-pass yield.

  • High precision machining
  • Polished zinc plating, nickel plating, electroplating, chrome plating
  • Anodizing, phosphating, acid treatment, polishing
  • Broaching, milling, drilling, tapping
