Product introduction
A down lead clamp, also known as a down lead cushion, is a device mounted on poles or strain towers to guide optical cables in upward or downward directions. Depending on the application, down lead clamps are categorized into various types, including those designed for towers, poles, ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cables, and OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) cables.
FERR’s Down Lead Clamp is specifically crafted to manage ADSS and OPGW cables transitioning from aerial to vertical positions on poles or towers. It provides secure cable attachment while minimizing abrasion caused by movement.
The down lead clamp for towers consists of two primary components: a stainless steel band and a rubber part. The stainless steel band is used to attach the rubber clamp to the pole, while the rubber part secures the optical fiber. This structure ensures that the optical fiber remains stable and protected, significantly reducing the risk of damage caused by vibration or friction.
In contrast, the down lead clamp for poles differs in design from the one for towers. It comprises a steel bracket, bolt and nut assembly, and a rubber component. The bolts securely fasten the down lead clamp to the tower to provide firm support.
What sets FERR apart from other manufacturers is their wide array of down lead clamp designs. FERR offers customizable options to suit various cable ranges, materials, and attachment preferences.
FERR’s down lead clamps are known for their exceptional durability and reliable performance across an extensive range of transmission line and communication applications. Key features include compatibility with broad cable ranges, quick installation, smooth surfaces to prevent damage, and competitive pricing that meets market demands effectively.

Testimonials
FERR always puts the interests of its customers first.

Yunex
Distribution network project contractors in Southeast Asia
I was most afraid of the drawings sent over to the docking is not clear, the results of FERR engineers directly with me to dock the technical details, and even the bolt hole spacing are confirmed to be very fine. Proofing out once through, no rework, too much trouble.

Orlando J.
Equipment distributors in Europe
Our customers are very picky, especially about the thickness and appearance of the hot-dip galvanized layer, and the goods sent by FERR not only meet the standard, but also the key is that each batch is very stable, and we have never had any problems with the secondary inspection.

Lambrinie
Procurement Manager, X Power Engineering, USA
We started out with just a couple samples to try, and they turned out to be so much better than what we were using before. The dimensional accuracy, surface finish are all spot on and the delivery was fast. Now every time I have a project I go to FERR first, with confidence.

Marco Martinez
Project Manager in the Middle East
I've used quite a few suppliers, some quotes are cheap but with lots of problems.FERR is not the cheapest but they are really the most hassle free. Design coordination, delivery time, packaging details can think ahead of me, I save a lot of energy.
